Lovely cosy comfy splashproof - will be even better if the cut is made more women specific.
We've recently moved to the sea and have taken up dinghy sailing and kayaking. I've been trying out various different layering options and decided to give the Aquafleece pro light a try. I'm 5'4 and size 10 but ordered a size 12 at first, to give room to layer over other garments. Although it was the right width across the shoulders, Size 12 was far too long in the arms and body, because the cut of the garment is long and very straight (you can see this from the photograph of the model on the website - the cut looks a bit more suited for a man). This cut will fit and suit people with slightloy narrower shoulders, and a straight long body. I have wide shoulders and a normal length body, so the cut isn't quite right for me, but I decided to order a size 10 instead and although it's a bit snug across the shoulders and bust, I can just get it over my swimming wetsuit, which is only 3 ml on the torso. We went on a full day sail last week in very good weather and the stretch fleece fabric of the Aquafleece moved well and helped keep me warm, although it definitely got wet inside after prolonged splashing when sailing into wind. I was glad to be wearing my wetsuit underneath and buoyancy aid on top, otherwise I would have been a bit cold. In conclusion, I think it's very good value for money and a great garment to having the toolbox in addition to a fully waterproof spray top. It would be even more comfortable and practical if it were given more specific tailoring for women, so…
