Welcome to Rooster USA. These Terms explain how we handle orders, payments, shipping, returns and other important points when you shop with us in the United States. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia (without regard to conflict-of-laws rules), and disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

Website Security & Payments

We use SSL encryption and reputable providers to help protect your data. Payments are processed by Braintree and/or PayPal. Card details are handled securely by our payment processor, not by Rooster USA. We use 3D Secure–style checks where supported. Payment is captured when we process your order.

We use cookies to operate and improve the site. Where required, we request consent for non-essential cookies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Privacy (US & California)

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA (for example, access, deletion, and the right to opt out of the “sale/share” of personal information). See our Privacy Policy for how to exercise these rights.

Orders, Pricing & Taxes

Submitting an order is an offer to buy; we accept only when we dispatch your order and email confirmation. We may decline or cancel before dispatch (for example, pricing or stock errors, fraud checks, legal/regulatory reasons); if so, we’ll refund any payment.

Prices & taxes: Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is applied where required by law based on the delivery address. If your order ships outside the US, you are responsible for local duties, taxes and import clearance.

Promotions & Discount Codes

Enter codes at checkout; they cannot be applied after you place the order. One code per order unless stated otherwise. Codes may exclude certain products, have minimum spends or expirations. No cash value; not transferable. Misuse (for example, multiple accounts or unauthorised sharing) may result in cancellation.

Digital Downloads

All digital purchases are final once downloading or streaming begins. Before access, you will be asked to consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge you waive your cancellation right once delivery starts. If digital content is defective, we will repair/replace or provide a reasonable price reduction where appropriate.

Product Descriptions

We aim to be accurate, but minor variations (for example, colour) can occur. If a product is not as described, contact us; unused items can be returned under our Returns Policy.

Under 18s

We sell to adults. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order.

Shipping, Risk of Loss & Delivery Estimates

We ship using reputable carriers. Dispatch and delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Orders placed with expedited shipping before our posted cut-off typically ship the same business day; weekend and holiday orders ship the next business day.

Risk of loss/title passes on delivery to your shipping address shown on the order. If the carrier marks your package as delivered but you cannot locate it, contact the carrier and then our support team so we can help investigate.

International shipments from the US may face customs delays outside our control. Any duties/taxes are the recipient’s responsibility.

Returns (90 Days)

We want you to love your gear.

Return window: Return within 90 calendar days of receipt for a refund.
Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging and resellable. Include a completed returns form.
Method & cost: Return shipping is at your cost unless the item is defective or we sent the wrong item. If you prefer, we can provide a prepaid label and deduct the label cost from your refund.
Processing: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days after we receive and inspect the return.
Bundles/Combos: Return the entire bundle for a refund.
Exceptions (no returns unless defective): customised/personalised items (including heat-applied logos/text), cut-to-length rope/rigging, carbon tiller extensions cut to instruction, masts/booms machined to order, and wetsuits/longjohns altered for fit.

Rooster Big Weekend – Terms & Conditions

General Returns Policy

All website orders come with a 90-day returns window. You must start your return within 90 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned in their original condition.

Save 20% Bundles

If you purchase a bundle marked Save 20%, the following applies:

Returning the full bundle:
You will receive a full refund of the amount originally paid.

Returning part of the bundle:
Partial returns are accepted, but the 20% discount will be removed.
We will recalculate the order at full price and refund only the remaining difference.

Buy 3 and Save 25%’ Offer

If you purchase three qualifying items under our Buy 3 and Save 25% promotion:

Returning all three items:
You will receive a full refund of the amount originally paid.

Returning one or two items:
Partial returns are accepted, but the 25% discount will be removed.
The order will be recalculated at full price and we will refund any remaining difference.

Limited Warranty (Products)

Rooster-branded products are covered by a LIMITED WARRANTY against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from purchase. We will repair, replace or refund at our discretion after inspection. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse/abuse, improper care, laundering damage, or colour/material changes from normal use. This written warranty is LIMITED under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act; it gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary by state. Full terms available on request.

Faulty/Incorrect Items

If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us promptly (ideally within 30 days) with your order number and photos so we can make it right (replacement, repair or refund as appropriate).

Custom Products

Because they are made or altered to your instructions, we cannot accept returns for custom/personalised items unless they are defective (see Section 11 exceptions). Contact us if a custom item develops a manufacturing issue.

Delays & Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example, carrier delays, weather, customs). If a significant delay occurs, we will keep you informed and work on a reasonable solution.

Sub-Contractors

We may use trusted third parties (for example, fulfilment centres, carriers) to perform parts of your order. We remain responsible for our obligations to you.

Availability

All products are offered subject to availability. If an item is unavailable after you order, we will notify you and offer an alternative or a refund.

Sustainability & Packaging

We reuse and recycle packaging where possible.

Loyalty & Referrals (if offered)

Earning and redemption rules are posted in the loyalty section of our site. Points have no cash value and are not transferable or saleable. We may adjust or remove points in cases of error, abuse or account closure. Referral rewards are issued when the referred customer completes a qualifying first purchase.

Promotions/Contests (US)

No purchase necessary unless expressly stated. Void where prohibited. Eligibility, entry method, timing, prize details and winner selection are set out in the specific Official Rules for each promotion. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/liability release and a publicity release where lawful. Any taxes on prizes are the winner’s responsibility. Promotions are governed by US federal law and Virginia law unless stated otherwise.

SMS/Text Messaging (TCPA)

We send marketing texts only with your prior express written consent and send non-marketing texts (for example, order updates) as allowed by law. Every message identifies Rooster USA and includes an opt-out: reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We honour opt-outs promptly and within TCPA timelines. Please keep your contact details current to avoid misdirected messages.

Restricted/Bladed Items

Some items (for example, knives, bladed tools) are age-restricted or restricted by local law. We may use age-verified delivery, require photo ID, or refuse/cancel orders where we cannot verify eligibility or where shipment is restricted by state/local law. You are responsible for complying with all applicable possession, use and transport laws in your jurisdiction.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site (text, images, logos, trademarks) is owned by or licensed to Rooster USA and may not be used without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rooster USA and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or purchase of products. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or for fraud.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Your continued use of the site means you accept any changes.
